The sophistication of the modern technology, communications and information has been used by MEDIU in taking the comprehensive steps of using 100 percent of virtual (online) system for their learning process.

Establishment of MEDIU is to provide convenience to anyone from all around the world who would want to gain knowledge of Islam generally in the comfortable atmosphere at home in the modern era.

Malaysia has become the option to establish MEDIU due to the country impressive state, compared to the other Muslim countries that have not been keen to spread knowledge through virtual (online) classes.

According to the Deputy Rector of Student Affairs, Dr. Habeeb Rahman Mohd. Ibramsa, Learning opportunities in MEDIU is only for students who are committed, have computer skills and high self-discipline to succeed. As the learning process of this virtual learning depends heavily on students .
